On Saturday it rained – it poured – the skies opened – water was cascading down the banks and dripping from every surface – did I mention that it rained on Saturday?

We walked at Morrell Sanctuary on Saturday, over Tranquility and Ghost Trails.  It was raining, but it was mild.  Buds were showing green and in some cases starting to open.  Hinting at the Spring.

Shuussh!  It’s coming!  Spring is coming!  The curly lilies are budding in the underbrush! Leaves and flowers are bursting out of their buds!  Spring is fast approaching!

On Sunday we walked at Stephenson Point.  Hints were turning to whispers!

We walked right out to the View Point Access.  From there we could see the Five Finger Islands.  The view was spectacular.
