The kettle is on for tea and it is time for a break from knitting.
This day got off to the beautiful start. As the sun rose it coloured the clouds in the sky a beautiful coral pink. The day progressed smoothly from that point on.
We walked at Neck point this morning. The air and water were quiet and still. There were birds of all descriptions on the water. The cormorants were gathered on the rocks and preening in the weak sunshine.
Walkers and runners abounded this morning as we walked – “Good Morning” and “What a glorious Day!” were the comments exchanged.
I am now half way through the project for Soho Publishing and the pattern is almost done. This is a rush job with a very hard deadline. Luckily it is in chunky yarn and – touch wood – everything is going smoothly!
I have put in about 8 hours of knitting in the last 20 hours and my hands are in need of a break. Tea, a snack and some typing should do the trick!
Everything is organized for the photo shoot tomorrow for the Cowgirl Knits E-book. This is a booklet that the Buffalo Wool Co. is putting together. I am one of the designers.
We will be working at a local stable, GP Cottonwood Stables. A friend has a horse there and is allowing us to use him for the photo shoot. Tamera will be modelling and the weather looks like it will be co-operating as well!
The retreat projects are going well. Fiona has got a good start on one of the lace samples.
Well – It has been an hour – Back to knitting.
Happy Knitting
