Hurry up and Wait!

Ribbed, Double Buttoned Sweater – Neck with button flap details.

After last months’ mad dash of activity the start of this month almost seems leisurely by comparison!

I have just started the first sample for the fall classes –  Ribbed Double Button Toddler/Child Sweater.  I am working with Tosca Light, a self striping yarn with a really long repeat.  It is a wool/acrylic mix and a very nice knit.  This will be a top-down class in the fall.  Just simple ribbing with a double button front flap.  Though it does always amaze me how long simple ribbing can take!  But I do like the look, especially in a sweater.

Schaeffer Anne for Wingspan.

At work we are starting a new KAL – Wingspan.  This is a free Ravelry pattern and looks like a good summer knit.  I have decided to knit with Schaeffer yarns Anne.  I have worked with it before and I love the way it knits up!  I am also working on my own KAL – Edging the Pink.  It will be a busy and fun summer of knitting!

I also have a couple of projects I would really like to finish……and even more I would like to start!  What about you?  Any exciting Summer plans – they don’t have to be knitting!  Just because I am a little obsessed (OK, maybe more than a LITTLE), doesn’t mean that everyone is!  LOL!

Happy Knitting

Lynette

PS – I do other things as well.  I walked at Neck Point last Sunday.  Definitely one of my favorites!
