“It is all in the details”!

Button embellishments on the picot hem; mirrored lace ribbing pattern down the front of the socks; and a ribbed back to pull it all together; these socks will be fun to knit and wear.

The buttons are placed on the hem as you knit using the crochet hook method used for bead placement. The buttons do need to have a shank to work this way.

Materials:  2.25mm dpn’s; 100grs Tracks sock yarn, sample was knit with Mykonos blue; 16, 3/8 to ½ inch buttons, (buttons must have a shank),  Sample used small buffalo nickel buttons from the Buffalo Wool Co.; 1.25mm crochet hook; markers.

Gauge: tight – 34 sts to 4inches in stockinet
