I used two different bulky yarns for this project – I ran out of the first yarn and because I knew that it would be painted I was not worried about the look before finishing.

Suitable yarns, include; Big Baby by Alpaca with a Twist; Rowan Purelife Chunky; Baby Alpaca Sport or any heavy weight chunky!

Materials: 80m, 88yds bulky yarn; 9mm 24inch circs.

Dimensions: unblocked, 8 inches long and 26 inches around; blocked, 10 inches long and 29 inches around.

Gauge: loose – one pattern repeat, 11 sts = 4 3/4 inches
