Knitting on an Edging…..

Waves rolling in at Saratoga Beach!
Waves rolling in at Saratoga Beach!

…. is like watching waves roll up on a beach.  The waves roll in and roll out and some go further and some are slower.

An edging works up to shawl and then away from the shawl.  Some rows are longer and some are shorter.

Both watching waves and knitting on an edging are hypnotic!

Happy Knitting

The Rest of the Walk

This mornings walk is one of those that will stand out in my memory for a long time. The elements of rain, sun and sea combined in a way to create a truly memorable experience. The air was clean and sparkling. The light was amazing. So clear, every surface seemed to be reflective. The sea was a true blue, highlighted with whitecaps and the breeze seemed to sing right along with the birds!

There was birdsong everywhere. A Great Blue Heron was fishing in the Lagoon; the Heron was so intent on fishing this one spot that he/she was there when we started walking around the point and was still there when we finished walking around the point – and it was a slow walk as I was taking quite a few pictures.

Eagles soared overhead and there were quite a few Spotted Towhee trilling out around us! Crows were everywhere as well. Showing no fear they allowed me to walk so close!

The Curly Lilies were everywhere and the flowering trees were rising to the sun!

I hope that you enjoy the walk!
