The Sunday morning walk was undertaken in a heavy snowfall. I had my rain gear for the camera and I was determined to get some active snow photographs.
Imagine my delight when down in the lowland ocean beside the grounds were Tundra Swans. With them were Mallards, and Buffle head ducks; there was even a Heron hunkered down by the shoreline.
The heavily falling snow has imbued these photographs with an unusual graininess. The Early Morning light has blued the colours and I feel that these are more like paintings than photographs. I love the effect. I hope that you do too!
