Finished…..

It is all in the details!

And about to be shipped.  Both samples for Vogue are done and are shipping this morning!  Happy Dance!

I am going to start December with a new project, maybe I will even finish an old one this month as well.  Old and New – a great way to end the old year and welcome in the New Year.

This evening, after I get home from the class I am teaching, I am going to start the Fair-Isle gloves.  I have been itching to make these.  Shetland Spindrift is such a wonderful yarn, with incredible depth in the tweeding.  First pair will have the fair-isle folded cuff, corrugated ribbing, patterning on the thumbs and fingers, the full on everything in one glove!

This weekend Tom and I will be going to Victoria and then to Butchart Gardens for the Christmas Lights.  I am really looking forward to this little trip.  I’ll be able to stock up on loose tea, beads and maybe find some Christmas presents for friends and family.

Even the leaves are starting to decorate themselves for Christmas! Not quite "Raindrops on Roses" - but still beautiful!

I am not sure that I will get any knitting in for Christmas this year, time has escaped me this time around.

Have you started your Christmas Knitting?  I don’t think that I will get any done this year – time has escaped me.

Maybe I should finish my son's socks from '09. These have been on the needles for a very looooong time!

I will have to at least start something though, family tradition being that at least one item still has to be on the needles under the tree!

Happy Knitting

Lynette
